We insure a range of high-value items including watch, jewellery, handbag, camera and lens, laptop, wine/whisky (coming soon) and art (coming soon).
We base your premiums on the current market value and any additional information you provide. Because the value of items may change over time, you might see a drop or rise in the premium at renewal. This just means the insurance cost is keeping up with your item’s current market value.

Yes. We will send you a reminder of your latest invoice with the updated premium 3 days prior to the renewal date via email.
With KoverNow, you’re never tied down. You can do this at any time through the KoverNow app. You may or may not get refunded depending on the underwriter of the policy.
For watch, jewellery and handbag policies underwritten by XL Insurance Company SE (Singapore Branch), you will be refunded for the remaining period that you have paid for provided no claim has been submitted. Please note that the minimum premium will not be refunded.
For camera & lens, laptop policies underwritten by QBE Insurance (Singapore) Pte Ltd, you will not get refunded for the remaining period you’ve paid for but your item will still be insured up until this period ends.
We specialize in item insurance tailored to protect each of your possessions based on their individual value and risk, offering global protection. Unlike Home Insurance, which typically imposes coverage limits for each item category, our policies are designed to accommodate the unique needs of luxury items that may appreciate in value. Relying on general Home Insurance could leave these high-value items underinsured in the event of loss, meaning if your item costs more than the limit, you won’t be able to replace it with a similar item. Additionally, Home policies often bundle services that may not be necessary, potentially leading to higher premiums. With KoverNow, you ensure your premiums are affordable and your coverage is adequate with transparent policies.
Warranties typically cover mechanical failure only, while KoverNow’s item policies offer “all-risk” protection including accidental damage, loss and theft.

KoverNow Camera and Lens Insurance is designed specifically for photography enthusiasts who wish to protect their cameras and lenses used for personal and non-commercial activities.
For photographers using their equipment for business purposes, we recommend reaching out to your business or liability insurance provider to explore suitable coverage options.
You will be able to pay using your credit/debit card (we accept Visa, Master, American Express), Google Pay and Apple Pay. We will charge you when you pay for your policy, and automatically at renewal.

If there is an issue with your credit card, we’ll ask you to provide us with a different one or update the details. We need to collect the premium before your item can be covered. We will notify you by email in case of any issues.
Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to show in your credit card.
You can file a claim 24/7 in the KoverNow app by clicking “Make a Claim” in your policy tab. We will guide you through the rest of the short process there.
The underwriter of the policy will reach out to you via email should there be further investigation or documents needed.
Once your claim is approved, our underwriter will issue payment directly into your bank account. We will ask you for your bank account information during the claims process already.
Yes. We offer individual and couple/family travel plans.
This is because while most of your travel cover only kicks in with you commencing the trip, some protection is already effective with the purchase of the policy. Loss of deposits and the failure of your travel agent are for example protected from the purchase date. For our underwriter to manage those risks effectively, exposure to those risks is limited to 90 days.

Because our travel cover is enjoyingly comprehensive and protects you from a variety of unexpected events that could happen during a trip, you can have multiple claim elements under a single policy. To be sure that all your claim elements get dealt with all together efficiently, we chose to link you directly to the QBE claims portal.
We take the protection of your personal information very seriously. KoverNow is PDPA compliant, and we strictly adhere to industry standards for data security. We will never sell your data.
We only share your information when necessary to deliver our services—such as issuing an insurance policy—or when you have given us express permission. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Insurance companies – like banks – and other financial intermediaries are at the risk of being used for money laundering and terror financing.
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) therefore requires banks and insurance companies to implement specific procedures to prevent those criminal activities. You can refer to details here.
KoverNow’s underwriting partners are regulated by the MAS and subject to those rules. To satisfy regulatory- and record-keeping requirements we must identify you before you can purchase a policy. To make this as convenient as possible, we use the particularly safe e-KYC (Know Your Customer) technology provided through GovTech and endorsed by the MAS.
